Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be the first smartphone with the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the new Redmi Turbo 4 Pro smartphone, which Redmi brand head Wang Teng says will debut as early as next week in China. It will be the first device based on Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
The device will be the first to be powered by Qualcomm’s recently unveiled Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
Focus on performance and new processor
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is built on a large-core architecture and features the Adreno 825 GPU, which belongs to the same generation as the flagship Adreno 830. This makes the Turbo 4 Pro one of the most powerful smartphones in the mid-range segment, especially in the sub-2,500 yuan price category.

Redmi is actively promoting the device as a performance-oriented device that can compete with the Ace and Neo series from other brands.

Screen and Camera Specifications
The smartphone is expected to get a 6.83-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a built-in optical fingerprint scanner. The main camera will consist of a 50-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization and an 8-megapixel secondary lens.

Battery and body protection

Regional exclusivity and global plans
Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, the global version of the device is likely to be released under the Poco brand – presumably as the Poco F7.
