Devil May Cry creator Hideaki Itsuno has revealed details of his new game

Legendary developer Hideaki Itsuno, known for Devil May Cry and Dragon’s Dogma, has shared the first details about his new AAA game.

After leaving Capcom last year, Itsuno took over LightSpeed Japan Studio, a subsidiary of Tencent. Now, during GDC 2025, he has confirmed that his team is working on a large-budget Japanese-style action game.
“Our goal is to create a gaming experience that hasn’t been seen before. I want to surprise players like I did with previous projects,” the developer said.
