The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G is unveiled with a top-of-the-line chipset and 100-watt charging capabilities
By ForGeeks Infinix has unveiled the most advanced model in the Note 50 series – the Note 50 Pro+ 5G. The smartphone was announced alongside Smart AI Ring and AI Buds, becoming part of the brand’s new AI strategy.
Smartphone Features
Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G inherits many features from the Note 50 Pro 4G model, including:
- Metal body with premium design
- 6.78-inch AMOLED display at 144Hz
- Sub-screen fingerprint scanner
- A 5,200 mAh battery
The Pro+ version, however, gets an improved chipset – the Dimensity 8350 (4nm, MediaTek), which allows for increased processing power and support for artificial intelligence (AI) features.
New Folax AI assistant and AI capabilities
The smartphone features the Folax assistant, which offers:
- Recognizing content on the screen
- Instant translation
- AI photo editing (AI Eraser, AI Cutout)
- AI Wallpaper Generator
- Automatic call answering and real-time translation support
The AI Auto-Answer and Real-Time Call Translator features work in two-way mode, but the list of supported languages has not yet been disclosed.
Cameras
The back of the device has three cameras:
- 50 MP main
- 3x Sony IMX896 telephoto lens
The smartphone also comes with a rare health monitoring feature. A sensor on the camera module can measure blood oxygen level (SpO2) and heart rate (HR).
Fast charging and 5.5G connectivity
Infinix Note 50 Pro+ supports powerful charging:
- 100W wired (charging from 0 to 100% in 32 minutes)
- 50W wireless MagCharge (magnetic charging)
- Reverse Charging (10W wired, 7.5W wireless)
The smartphone also supports 5.5G (thanks to Super WiFi 2.0), which increases download speeds by 606% and download speeds by 131%.
Prices and Availability
Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G will be available in three colors:
- Titanium Gray
- Enchanted Purple
- Racing Edition (silver with patterns on the back)
The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration starts at $370. A launch date has not yet been announced, and prices will vary by region.
