Blizzard games will be released on Steam, starting with Overwatch 2 in August
By ForGeeks Blizzard Entertainment has announced plans to make «some» of its PC games available on Steam. The first game on Valve’s digital marketplace will be the free-to-play team-based shooter Overwatch 2, which is already available to order ahead of its Aug. 10 release.
The game will be available on Steam.
To play on Steam, as on all other platforms, players will need to connect a Battle.Net account, which the company says will enable features such as cross-play. «Our goal at Blizzard —is to listen to players and strive to exceed their expectations in everything we do» —said company president Mike Ybarra.
