Diablo 4 players reached 10 million in June, a record for Blizzard

Activision Blizzard said Wednesday that Diablo 4 has been «experienced» more than 10 million players in the month since its release. The game was released on June 5 for PC and consoles and is the studio’s best-selling World of Warcraft game, according to the publisher.
«As of the end of the second quarter, Diablo IV had sold more copies than any other Blizzard game at a similar stage of release» — it said in its second-quarter earnings report. The release of Diablo 4 provided a record three months for Blizzard’s business segment, which generated $1 billion in net revenue for the company for the first time in a quarter.

In the three months ended June 30, Activision said Blizzard’s revenue grew more than 160% year-over-year and operating profit more than tripled, setting new quarterly records.
