Logitech has released the G304 X Lightspeed gaming mouse
Logitech G has officially unveiled the G304 X Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse in China — an updated version of the popular G304 and G305 models. The new mouse retains the familiar design, but gets some important improvements in power, weight, connectivity, and sensor accuracy.
Logitech’s new G304 X Lightspeed mouse is a new version of the G304 X Lightspeed.
The biggest change is the switch to an integrated 290 mAh lithium-ion battery. It replaces the standard AA battery, reducing the mouse’s weight to about 57 grams. Logitech also redesigned the internal layout to achieve a more balanced weight distribution, which translates to better control and stability in fast-paced games.

The G304 X supports two connectivity modes: wireless via updated Lightspeed 2.4GHz technology and wired via USB-C. According to the company, the new Lightspeed version features lower latency and better immunity to interference, which is especially important in a saturated wireless environment.
The mouse features a Hero 25K optical sensor with a sensitivity range of 100 to 25,000 DPI. Logitech plans to increase the maximum to 25,600 DPI in the future with the Logitech G Hub software update. The sensor supports a polling rate of 1,000Hz, tracking speeds of over 400 IPS and acceleration of up to 40G.
The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 106 hours of battery life in wireless mode. Fast charging is also implemented: 10 minutes of plugging in gives you about 11 hours of use. You can also use the mouse while it’s charging via USB-C.

The device has built-in memory for storing one profile, and up to five profiles are available when using the G Hub program. PTFE PTFE feet are used for a smooth glide, and the main buttons are rated for 20 million presses.
Logitech’s G304 X is compatible with Windows 10 and later, as well as macOS 12 and later. It’s available in black, white, purple, and pink and comes with a two-year limited warranty.
