Lenovo unveils refreshed Legion 5i Gen 11 gaming laptop
Lenovo has officially announced an updated version of its popular Legion 5i gaming laptop for the European market. The 11th-gen model gets the latest Intel Panther Lake-H processors, a vibrant high-res OLED display, and NVIDIA RTX 5000-series graphics, positioning itself as a balanced pick for gamers and content creators alike.
At the heart of the refresh is a 15.3-inch OLED panel boasting a 1600p resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 1000 nits. This display promises deep blacks, high contrast, and smooth visuals in fast-paced games.
Powering performance are Intel’s new Core Ultra 7 356H and the more powerful Core Ultra 9 386H chips from the Panther Lake lineup. Interestingly, the base model features a slight step down in GPU power with the mobile NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 instead of the RTX 5070 found in the previous generation-likely a move driven by positioning strategy and thermal constraints. The laptop supports all the latest gaming tech, including ray tracing and DLSS 4/4.5.
