Xiaomi unveiled a floor air conditioner with HyperOS, quick cleaning and instant cooling
By ForGeeks Xiaomi has launched a new floor air conditioner in China Mijia Ultra-Efficient Standing Air Conditioner (3HP). It features high performance, support for smart functions and quick adaptation to any climate conditions. The device is already on sale on JD.com at a price of 4999 yuan (about $692), and 3999.2 yuan (about $554) when including government support.
Power, speed and adaptation to non-standard rooms
The main feature of the new product is a serious increase in power compared to the previous generation. The airflow volume has been increased to 1752 m³/h (up from 1200 m³/h previously) and the air outlet area is now 2600 cm² an increase of 117%. Air exits through a wide 181-mm opening and covers the space at 115°, with a maximum flow range of 13 meters.
This solution is perfect for large or irregular spaces, including L-shaped rooms and long corridors.
Smart Features and HyperOS
The air conditioner runs Xiaomi HyperOS Connect, supports control via the Mijia app and voice commands with the Xiao AI assistant. An over-the-air (OTA) update and a remote diagnostics system with more than 122 parameters to check the device’s status are also available.
You can control your home climate remotely, set schedules and receive real-time status notifications.
Fast cooling, reliability and self-cleaning
The design is based on the Xiaomi-developed outdoor unit Xiao Jin Gang, which is designed to operate at temperatures from -32°C to +60°C. In cooling mode, it reaches the desired temperature in just 40 seconds, while heating takes 80 seconds.
The system also features an automatic self-cleaning function, including:
- heat exchanger freezing,
- flushing,
- sterilization at 56°C
The filter with antibacterial and antifungal coating provides up to 99% bacteria killing, including E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, as confirmed by laboratory tests.
