Xiaomi launches 8000W modular power outlet

A new color of Xiaomi Track Power Socket modular socket system – Frost Snow White – has been released in China. The new product retains all the features and price of the original variant in Deep Space Grey color. Three lengths are available: 50cm for 299 yuan (~$41), 75cm for 399 yuan (~$55), and 100cm for 499 yuan (~$69).
The system is rated for a total load of up to 8,000 watts. Each adapter can handle up to 2,500 watts, allowing you to plug in multiple high-powered appliances at once, including microwaves, multicookers, coffee makers, and air grills. Three to five adapters are included depending on track length; additional adapters can be purchased separately.
For safety, an automatic safety shutter covers the connectors when the adapter is removed, protecting against dust, grease and accidental contact. The housing is made of flame retardant material that can withstand heat up to 960°C. The narrow 4.4 mm wide slot and T-shaped structure reduce the risk of electric shock.

The insulated phase and neutral conductors are used inside, and the ground wire runs through a separate groove, minimizing the chance of short circuits or electrocution even if foreign objects get inside.
Adapters can be added or removed as needed. An external ring allows you to turn the power on and off without having to unplug the unit. For safety, the adapters lock into position and won’t slide on the track, but they can be unlocked and repositioned.
There are three ways to connect power: from the left end, from the right end, and from an external cable. However, the external cable is not included.
All three power connection methods are supported: left end, right end, and external cable.
Xiaomi also offers three kinds of adapters: a standard 10A adapter, a 10A smart adapter with monitoring and control via app or voice, and a 33W fast charging module with USB-A and USB-C ports.
