TV Stations with Alice can now be bought in Belarus
By ForGeeks TV Stations and TV Stations Pro – TV sets with Yandex Stations features and voice control without a remote control – have started selling in Belarus. The former comes in 43- and 50-inch diagonals, and the latter in 55- and 65-inch diagonals. In Russia sales of these devices started two months ago.
The new TVs can be operated without a remote, although one is included. This is thanks to Farfield’s voice recognition technology. The device has four highly sensitive microphones that can detect even whispers. Users can change channels, adjust the volume, turn on movies and pause them by voice. Alice responds to commands in Russian.
The TV Stations have all the features of smart speakers with Alice, from listening to music to controlling your smart home. For example, you can ask Alice to set an alarm or tell you what the weather is like outside. The devices respond to commands even when the screen is off and sound clear and powerful without any external acoustics. TV Station has four 34W speakers, and TV Station Pro has six 44W speakers.
The two models support Ultra-HD (4K) video and let you watch movies and TV channels online. The TV Station Pro features Local Dimming technology, which makes dark scenes more contrasty. TV Station Pro is equipped with a matte QLED screen with anti-glare effect. This model has an ultra-thin body (3.7 cm) and can be mounted close to the wall like a painting.
Smart devices with Alice are available in different countries. Kazakhstan sells Yandex Stations, Yandex smart TVs with Alice, Yandex TV modules and smart home devices (sensors, light bulbs and sockets), and Belarus now also sells TV Stations. In Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, you can buy Yandex Stations, sensors, light bulbs and sockets.
