Yandex TV Stations has updated its recommendation system

Family members can now ask Alice to switch to their personal accounts to access only their favorite content. In addition, the system now takes into account likes and dislikes of movies when generating recommendations.

The home screen for each account displays personalized content like movies, shows, apps, TV channels, and viewing history. You can pick up where you left off, even if you were watching a movie on your smartphone before. The system will also remind you when new episodes of your favorite show are released. To add a movie to your favorites, just say, “Alice, I’ll be watching.
Toggle between accounts with the phrase “Alice, switch to another account,” and for a child’s account, “Alice, turn on the child’s account.” Recommendations for different family members won’t be mixed, which means parents won’t be shown cartoons if they don’t watch them, and kids will only see age-appropriate content. Up to four accounts can be connected to TV Station, including a Yandex Plus family subscription.
