Casio introduced WS-B1000 wristwatch with smart functions

Casio has launched the WS-B1000 wristwatch, which combines a traditional electronic watch with an LCD display and a fitness tracker. This combination allows the device to perform the functions of modern wearable electronics while providing excellent autonomy. The company has already revealed the main features of the gadget and announced its price.

Casio WS-B1000 are equipped with a transflective LCD display like a regular watch. However, it also “borrows” the fitness tracker’s Bluetooth connectivity to a smartphone for time synchronization, alarms, and phone lookup. It can also track the number of steps the wearer has taken.

With the mobile app, you can set daily goals for the number of steps. If there aren’t enough steps, the watch will beep and display a reminder icon on the display. A graph of your step count over the last seven hours is also available.

The device’s features include a stopwatch with 200 laps memory, a timer, five alarms, an hourly chime, three or one and a half seconds of screen backlighting, water resistance for immersion up to 100 meters and two years of autonomy on a single CR2016 battery charge.

The Casio WS-B1000 watch is already available for purchase for $55 ($4 670 rubles).
