Samsung has added 20 works from the Vogue archive to the Art Store for its TVs

Samsung Samsung announced the addition of Samsung Art Store to its Vogue collection. Owners ofSamsung The Frame and The Frame Pro can now install twenty photographs and artworks from more than a century of the magazine’s history on the screen.

The new selection includes iconic Vogue covers and editorials. Twenty works were selected for the collection from an archive of 400,000 works stored under controlled conditions. The selections were curated by Vogue curators in collaboration with Darius Green, global head of content and curation at Samsung.
After the update, the Art Store has more than 4,000 works of art available to users in 115 countries — such a massive selection is not offered by any other TV manufacturer.
What works have been included in the Vogue collection
- «The Divers» by George Hoyningen-Guynet (1930);
- Portrait of model Iman in a Yves Saint Laurent skirt taken by Kurken Pakchanian (1977);
- «Rene Russo in Arequipa» by Francesco Scavullo (1976);
- Photograph of models Melanie Kane, Beverly Johnson, Lisa Cooper and Pat Cleveland in John Anthony ensembles (1976), taken by Duane Michaels;
- photo of model in a red 1959 Continental Mark IV, taken by John Rawlings;

Commenting on the launch, Samsung’s Director of Business Development Kyle Menges said:
