IFA 2025: Govee shows gadgets for smart lighting

At IFA 2025, Govee showed several new smart lighting products, including two potential industry firsts.
- The industry’s first HDR triple camera device to accurately capture colors from your TV screen (105dB dynamic range).
- Updated LuminBlend light strip with high-density LEDs, 30% brighter than previous models.
- AI color mixing system automatically adjusts white balance and saturation.
- Third generation of permanent outdoor lights with triple color effect and dynamic optical design that allows for seamless blending of light zones without overlapping.
- Support for 16 million “realistic” colors and smooth gradients.
- Weather protection: IP68 rating, fireproof materials, UV protection, operating temperature from -30 to 140 °F.
Other Govee announcements include Curtain Light Pro, Star Light Projector (Nebula), Christmas Sparkle String Lights and Pendant Light – all compatible with Matter.
TV Backlight 3 Pro and Prism will be available in late September, Curtain Light Pro will be available starting September 8. Pricing for the new products has not yet been revealed.
