Adobe Premiere for iOS will be released at the end of September

Adobe has announced a mobile version of Premiere for iPhone – the app will be free and watermark-free, making it an accessible tool for content creators. It’s scheduled for release on the App Store on Sept.
- multitrack timeline familiar to desktop users;
- frame accurate editing, unlimited number of layers (video, text, audio, voiceover);
- working with 4K HDR-video;
- color correction presets from Adobe Lightroom;
- automatic video resizing for different social networks;

Exporting has been emphasized: you can publish clips to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram* in just one tap.
Despite being free, there are paid options in the app. Users will be able to purchase AI credits to generate sound effects, enhance speech, and use assets through Adobe Firefly. Additional cloud storage will also be available. The App Store lists in-game purchases at $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year.
Adobe attributes the move to stiff competition with free editors like CapCut and a new tool from Instagram*. The company has also confirmed that an Android version of Premiere is in development.
