If you’ve been eyeing the OnePlus 11 but thought it lacked some of the features you thought the phone desperately needed, here’s some good news. It looks like the new smartphone will fix all of its predecessor’s shortcomings, if a new rumor from Weibo is to be believed.

The device will allegedly support at least 50W wireless charging. There will also be USB 3.2 support and an IR blaster built into the USB-C port. As previously reported, it will get a «high-end periscopic» 3x optical zoom lens and a 64MP sensor.

All of these features were missing from the OnePlus 11, and their addition in the 12 looks like it will make it one of the company’s highest-end devices. That said, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a price hike along with the expanded specs list.

According to previous rumors, the smartphone will feature a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16GB or 24GB of RAM, at least 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging support. Expect a 6.82-inch QHD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 2,600 nits, and of course Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.
