Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G – the first laptop in the series with mobile internet support
Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book 5 lineup with a new device that stands out from the standard, Pro and 360 versions. The new product is called the Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G and is the only model in the series with support for mobile internet via SIM card.
Galaxy Book 5 Edge 5G features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with anti-glare coating for comfortable use during long hours of use. It weighs about 1.66 pounds and has a slim 15.5mm-thick chassis, making it portable enough for its size. Sound is provided by Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon X (X1-26-100) processor with Adreno graphics. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of eUFS storage, giving you a good amount of performance for multitasking, work tasks, and entertainment.
The laptop gets a 61.2Wh battery with support for fast charging via the included 65W USB-C adapter. The interface suite includes 5G Sub6 support via a SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB 4.0 ports, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1 with 4K 60Hz output, a microSD slot, and a headphone and microphone combo jack.
