Dyson has introduced the Pencil Vacuum: 38mm body, 55AW power and up to 30 minutes of run time

Dyson has launched a new vacuum cleaner in China Pencil Vacuum, which recently made its global debut as well. The device has an ultra-thin cylindrical body with a diameter of only 38 mm and is equipped with Dyson’s most compact and fastest motor. The cost of the novelty is 3999 yuan (~560 dollars). Pre-orders are already open on JD.com, and the start of free sales is scheduled for September 8 at 10:00 a.m.
Lightweight body and compact motor
Dyson Pencil Vacuum has a motor that can reach speeds of up to 140,000 rpm. It weighs just 0.92 kg and measures 1160 × 226 × 78 mm, which is comparable to the weight of a 13-inch laptop.
The vacuum is designed for spot cleaning in hard-to-reach places and around furniture.

The container is equipped with an air chamber with a piston mechanism of dust ejection, allowing easy cleaning without contact with the garbage.
Filtration system and attachments
Dyson claims a dual-layer sealed filtration system that traps 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. The direct dust separation system improves airflow and reduces the risk of clogging.
The new roller module Fluffycones has four conical brushes and two double drives. The brushes prevent hair coiling, while the nylon fibers further protect long strands from tangling.
The vacuum supports 360-degree movement and edge-to-edge cleaning with zero clearance. Kit includes:

- two additional accessories,
- magnetic wall dock for charging and storage.
Smart Features
The body has LCD display showing the operating mode, remaining charge and filter notifications. The modes (Eco, Medium, Boost) can be controlled with a single button.
It also supports the MyDyson app, which reports maintenance and analyzes cleaning performance.
Other new Dyson products
In addition to the Pencil Vacuum, the company has introduced the Dyson V8 Cyclone Dyson V8 Cyclone with suction power of 150AW and a replaceable battery, as well as the updated Dyson Cool CF1 -a blade-less desk fan.
