Asus has denied a report that it is discontinuing the Zenfone lineup
By ForGeeks Yesterday, Taiwanese media reported that Asus is discontinuing its Zenfone series of smartphones and moving its employees to its ROG Phone division as part of an organizational restructuring. However, the company issued a press statement denying the allegations, saying the report was «untrue».
Asus is not making any changes to the Zenfone series of smartphones and is moving its employees to the ROG Phone division as part of an organizational restructuring.
It’s also claimed that Asus has cut back on the number of employees in its PC divisions in China and Taiwan. While the company did not comment on the layoffs in the PC department, the brand assured that the Zenfone and ROG Phone lines will not be discontinued.
We would like to respond to rumors that the Zenfone 10 will be the last generation of the series and the Zenfone product line will be discontinued. This is not true.
