Realme GT 8 Pro: leaked specs of the 2025 flagship

After releasing the GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in late 2024, Realme has not yet shared any official information about the GT 8 Pro. However, a reliable Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has already revealed the key specs of the upcoming flagship.

According to the leak, the Realme GT 8 Pro will get a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, which hasn’t been officially unveiled yet. The device will feature a metal body, a 2K resolution display and an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint scanner.

One of the main features will be a battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh. However, charging will be a bit slower than the GT 7 Pro’s 100W vs. the previous 120W.

As for the cameras, there’s no exact number of modules yet, but it’s known that the smartphone will get a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens – apparently with the aim of competing in long-range mobile photography.

If Realme maintains its usual release schedule, the GT 8 Pro shouldn’t be expected before the fourth quarter of 2025. But the next release in the lineup is the Realme GT 7, which will debut in China as early as April 23.
