Xiaomi has updated several new smartphones to HyperOS 3
The updated version of Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 continues to gradually cover more and more devices, though users still have to be patient. The ITHome publication has published a new list of smartphones that have received the update to Android 16 based on HyperOS 3. So far, we’re only talking about Chinese versions — global models are traditionally about a month behind.

The rollout is being phased in, so the update is coming in batches rather than simultaneously to all devices.

HyperOS 3 is coming to 2023 models, including the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and the Xiaomi 13 series. Also on the list are several Redmi Note series smartphones — from the 2023 models to the 2025 devices: the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Note 14 Pro, Note 13 Pro and the Pro+ versions.
It’s important to keep in mind that we’re only talking about the Chinese update schedule. Global versions of the smartphones get the firmware later. For example, the Xiaomi 13 series is due for an update in January, as are some Redmi Note models. However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro (4G version) is expected to get the update as early as this month.
