Samsung is preparing a lineup of Micro RGB TVs for CES 2026

CES 2026 is just a little while away, and as usual, TVs will be one of the main topics of the show. Samsung, one of the key players in the market, is preparing a big announcement for the event: according to South Korean media, the star of the company’s booth will be a new lineup of Micro RGB TVs.

In fact, Samsung has already shown off its ultra-premium 115-inch Micro RGB TV at IFA 2025. However, it’s hard to call this format mass-market — it’s too big for most buyers. The lineup the company is preparing for CES is much more practical: expect models ranging from 65 to 98 inches. This signals that Samsung is ready to bring the new technology to market in real volumes, rather than limiting itself to concept demonstrations.

The cost of the new TVs is being kept under wraps for now, but ET News reports that internally the company is looking at prices as close to the current Neo QLED series as possible. For reference, a 75-inch Neo QLED with 8K resolution now costs about 6.2 million won, while 85-inch versions — 8 to 15 million won, depending on configuration.

The head of the Visual Display division, Young Seok-woo, hinted at such a strategy as early as IFA 2025 — he said Samsung will release Micro RGB TVs in several sizes in 2026 «at a price that will make consumers feel the purchase is really worth their money». Whether those promises will come true will become clear very soon.

Samsung won’t be the only company promoting Micro RGB at CES 2026, though. LG is also reportedly planning to unveil its first TV using the technology.
