Dragon Age: The Veilguard has been given an eerie release date
By ForGeeks BioWare made the biggest announcement of Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Thursday, revealing that the highly anticipated open-world RPG will release on Halloween, Oct. 31.
BioWare has announced that the long-awaited open-world RPG will be released on Halloween, Oct. 31.
This coincides with expectations from parent company Electronic Arts’ financial statements, which set The Veilguard’s launch for its fiscal third quarter, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Dec. 31. At this point, production of the game is fully on schedule, and the marketing campaign has just begun.

BioWare announced the release date on Wednesday, but a version of the trailer leaked hours before the premiere: it appeared on Streamable. The studio also published a roadmap leading up to the game’s launch, with trailers, Q&As, events, and more planned throughout August. It’s noted, however, that more events are in store for us in September.
Some of these events will be coming in September.

This news has been long awaited. It was announced that the next game in the Dragon Age series was in development back at the 2018 Game Awards, with the first official reveal coming two years later. The game was previously titled Dragon Age: Dread Wolf, with The Veilguard announced as the official subtitle earlier this year.
