Realme introduced the 11 Pro with a curved display

Now Realme has unveiled the 11 Series with three models – Basic, Pro and Pro+. These mid-range models have a bold, distinctive design and are currently only 100 yuan ($15) apart.

The Realme 11 Pro starts at $245 for the 8/256GB base unit. There’s also a 12/256GB for $290 and a 12/512GB for $315.

The phone’s most distinctive feature is its back. The large round camera island doesn’t hold many modules, but it’s certainly an eye-catcher with its size and decorative ring.

And that’s not even the best part: the stripe running down the center, along with the decorative stitching on the vegan leather, make it feel like a premium gaming phone or a dedicated camera phone, not the affordable mid-range it is.

Note that the Starry Night Black looks more understated. It’s also thinner (8.2mm vs. 8.7mm) and lighter (185g vs. 191g). Whichever color scheme you choose, know that they were created by former Gucci print designer Matteo Menotto.

One notable module on the significant camera island is the 100 MP main camera with a f/1.75 aperture, 26mm lens and OIS. It can record 4K video at 30 frames per second and is complemented by a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera (82.3°, f/2.45, 1080p at 30 frames per second).

The front end also does its best to look more premium with its curved 6.7-inch OLED panel. It has FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with a 360Hz touch sampling rate (which can instantly go up to 1260Hz). It is a 10-bit panel with HDR10+ support and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The panel can reach a brightness of 950 nits and uses high-frequency PWM for dimming (2160 Hz).

Realme 11 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7050, a 6nm process that is an upgrade to the Dimensity 1080. While it’s not the fastest chip in this price class, it has plenty of memory to run — up to 12GB of RAM (plus up to 8GB of virtual RAM) and up to 512GB of storage. The phone runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0.

The 5,000mAh battery provides power. It only supports 67W wired charging, which means it can reach 50 percent in 18 minutes. The phone has two superlinear antennas and is Hi-Res Audio certified (but you need to use the USB-C port for wired audio).
