Japanese developer Minakata Dynamics has announced the release of Whiskerwood, a city-building simulator inspired by Rimworld and Sid Meier’s Civilization. The game will be published by Hooded Horse, known for Manor Lords.

In Whiskerwood, players have to manage a colony of mice that are under the oppression of tyrant cats. The colonists use the mice for their own purposes, forcing them to perform various tasks, such as exploring new territories.

Players will have to build cities, manage production, and provide comfort to the colony’s inhabitants. Each mouse will have its own unique characteristics.

Minakata Dynamics promises terraforming mechanics, weather modification, and socio-ethical dilemmas in the game. The game will be available in Russian. Whiskerwood can already add to your wishlist of games on Steam.
