The Blackmagic Camera app is now available on Android
By ForGeeks Android smartphone owners can now try out the former iOS exclusive — the Blackmagic Camera app. It’s designed for professional mobile shooting and includes a host of tools for manually adjusting the camera, as well as features for creating cinematic videos.
Blackmagic Camera offers a wide range of tools for fine-tuning video, including frame rate and white balance. The app integrates seamlessly with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic Cloud, allowing you to synchronize footage with your video editor and collaborate on projects. The interface also includes a built-in chat feature for discussing edits.
The app is currently compatible with a limited number of smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy 23 series and above (including the FE model), and all seventh-generation Google Pixel devices. It should be noted that the Android version does not support the Log color space available in the iOS version.
