Hyundai launched in Russia refrigerators with UV sterilization – CM5543F and CM5544F
By ForGeeks Hyundai has started selling two refrigerator models in Russia with a total chamber volume of 540 liters. The new models are distinguished by the ability to freeze food down to -32 °C, the function of sterilization of products, low noise level due to the inverter compressor, as well as a variety of operating modes.
The brand’s catalog includes the CM5543F and CM5544F four-door, three-chamber models in two color options. Their features are the same, except the CM5543F doesn’t have height-adjustable legs. Out of a total volume of 540 liters, 354 liters are for the refrigerator compartment and 186 liters for the freezer compartment. The manufacturer claims that this is enough for a family of four or five people.

The A+ energy efficiency class inverter motor maintains a constant optimal temperature without sudden fluctuations. It runs at a low speed, making the noise level as low as 37dB. The fridges do not require defrosting thanks to the Total No Frost system. Cold air is evenly distributed throughout the chambers, preventing the formation of ice, frost and condensation.
Blue sterilizing UV light kills up to 99% of bacteria in the refrigerated compartment. “Freshness Zone” with humidity regulator helps keep fruits, herbs and vegetables fresh. In the refrigerator compartment, three tempered glass shelves can be adjusted to suit the height of the food.
There is also a special drawer with a door for storing cosmetics. It maintains the temperature of natural cosmetics or cools cosmetics 20-30 minutes before use.
The freezer is divided into two compartments with additional trays, each opened by a separate door. The minimum temperature in Fast Freezing mode reaches -32°C.

The new products support a variety of temperature settings, including supercooling, superfreezing and the energy-saving ECO mode. It can be controlled via the touchscreen display. The lock function protects the appliance from children: once activated, all the buttons on the control panel become desensitized. Both models come with a 2-year warranty.
Hyundai CM5543F and CM5544F are already available for purchase on marketplaces and retail stores.
