vivo X200T unveiled: an affordable flagship with Zeiss cameras and a powerful battery

The vivo X200 series isn’t over yet — the company has launched the vivo X200T, a more affordable flagship smartphone featuring Zeiss-branded cameras, a premium build, and a large battery with fast charging.

The vivo X200T comes in two colors: Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac. It sports a metal frame with glass panels on both front and back, and offers dust and water resistance rated at IP68 and IP69.

The highlight of the vivo X200T is its camera system. It houses a triple setup with 50MP modules all featuring Zeiss optics. The main camera is a wide-angle lens with a 1/1.56-inch LYT702 sensor. Complementing it is an ultra-wide camera with autofocus using a 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor, plus a telephoto lens with a 70mm focal length, f/2.57 aperture, 3x optical zoom, and a 1/1.95-inch LYT600 sensor. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera with a KD1 sensor and fixed focus at f/2.0.

Content is displayed on a 6.67-inch AMOLED Zeiss Color Master screen with 10-bit color depth. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and peaks at 5000 nits in brightness. For durability, it’s protected by Schott glass.

Powering the vivo X200T is a 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1. The phone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with the manufacturer promising five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches.

The battery capacity is 6200mAh, featuring a third-generation design with a silicon anode and semi-solid structure. It supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Additionally, there’s bypass charging, which helps reduce battery wear under heavy load by powering the device directly from the charger.

The vivo X200T is available in 12/256GB and 12/512GB configurations and has already hit the market. Pricing starts at 59,999 Indian rupees for the 12/256GB model and goes up to 69,999 rupees for the 12/512GB version.
