iQOO 15R debuts on February 24

iQOO has been teasing the 15R model over the past few weeks and has now officially confirmed its launch date. The iQOO 15R smartphone will be unveiled on February 24, the brand announced in a post on the social platform X.

While iQOO hasn’t revealed many details about the device yet, it’s already known that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The smartphone will run OriginOS based on Android 16 and feature a dual rear camera setup. Additionally, a product page on Amazon India suggests the iQOO 15R’s price won’t exceed 55,000 Indian rupees, which is roughly $599 USD.

It appears that the iQOO 15R is essentially a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched in China earlier this month.

The iQOO 15R is expected to sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP main camera, and a 7,600 mAh battery built with silicon-carbon technology.
