Sber TVs with voice control and GigaChat introduced at AI Journey
The Sber 7000 series lineup was the company’s first TVs to feature voice control without a remote and full integration of its AI assistant, GigaChat. The models were shown at AI Journey. They support content search through dialog, offer recommendations and allow you to start watching immediately. Development is being handled by partner SberDevices.
The new Sber 7000 Series TVs use Farfield technology and four microphones that recognize commands up to five meters away, including whispers. The TV accepts commands without being activated by the phrase “Salute”: you can change the volume or stop a movie with a single word. In sleep mode, the device acts as a speaker and controls your smart home, while privacy mode lets you turn off voice control.
The TVs run on Salute TV, fully integrated with GigaChat. The assistant engages in conversation, holds context, answers questions about movies, actors, directors, and immediately turns on selected content in the desired theater. It analyzes the image on the screen and while watching, it prompts what’s on the channel or what’s coming next. By plot description, GigaChat finds the right movie, and also forms selections by genre, mood or rating.
The series uses a QLED matrix. MEMS enhances the smoothness of dynamic scenes, while AI Picture Quality improves color, contrast and detail. The technologies work together to enhance your viewing experience.
Sberbank senior vice president and head of Sberbank’s Technology Development unit Andrei Belevtsev noted that the company was the first in Russia to fully put smart home devices, speakers and now TVs under AI control. He emphasized that the TV business remains key, with more than 1 million Sber TVs sold since April 2023 and 2025 sales up 22% on 2024.
