BioCharger, a wood-fueled charger for electric cars, has been created

Air Burners has introduced a unique BioCharger charging station that is powered by burning wood waste. This innovative technology not only provides an efficient charger for electric vehicles and power tools, but it is also an environmentally friendly solution.

One of the main benefits of the BioCharger is the reduction of harmful emissions into the air. With air curtain technology, the air circulating in the furnace acts as a filter, trapping and afterburning large fractions of soot. This reduces emissions by 90% or more, making the use of this charging station not only efficient, but also environmentally friendly.

The BioCharger’s air curtain technology acts as a filter, trapping and refining large fractions of soot.

BioCharger has excellent specifications. It is capable of generating up to 480 kWh of energy and, if required, the output can be increased to 700 kWh. In addition, the unit is capable of burning 6 to 8 tons of wood per hour. This is especially relevant in conditions where there is no access to electricity in the taiga, but there is a surplus of wood materials.

At the same time, the plant is capable of burning 6 to 8 tons of wood per hour.

One important potential application for the BioCharger is to use it as a waste wood utilizer. Over 70 million tons of wood waste are produced in the U.S. each year, much of which is simply burned in open areas. In this context, the BioCharger system provides a valuable solution for the efficient utilization of this waste.

Air Burners is currently testing the system with a prototype 23-ton Volvo EC230 crawler excavator. The BioCharger costs $1.7 million (150.6 million rubles), which is a reasonable investment given its versatility and environmental value.
