Realme GT 7: global release announced

Realme has officially confirmed the global launch of its new flagship GT 7 smartphone lineup. The presentation will take place on May 27 in Paris. Earlier, the GT 7 Pro with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip has already debuted in India. The base GT 7 and GT 7T models are expected to be announced at the upcoming event.
Innovative cooling and a focus on autonomy
Realme is actively promoting its graphene-based IceSense cooling technology, a solution that will be used for the first time in the industry. According to the company, the theme of the presentation – “Power that Never Stops” – symbolizes the focus on sustained performance and long battery life.
One of the key metrics claimed is consistent performance at 120 frames per second for six hours of continuous gaming. That’s a serious bid to focus on the gamer audience.
Some of the key claimed parameters are sustained performance of 120 frames per second for six hours of continuous gaming.

GT 7 and GT 7T: different chips and high performance
It was previously reported that the GT 7 and GT 7T will be powered by Dimensity 9300 Plus and Dimensity 8400 chipsets respectively. However, fresh leaks suggest a more advanced variant: the GT 7 will get the new Dimensity 9400e. This chip retains the CPU and GPU architecture from the 9300+, but features improved power efficiency and thermal performance. The GT 7T is likely to remain on the Dimensity 8400.
Unrenamed versions of Chinese models
It was rumored that the GT 7 and GT 7T could turn out to be global versions of the Chinese Neo 7 and Neo 7 SE models. However, new official teasers showing the GT 7’s rear panel design and camera layout have disproved those speculations – it’s an entirely new lineup being developed as a global product.
The smartphone will come in at least two colors: black and blue. For the Indian market, the devices will soon be available through realme.com, Amazon and offline partners.
GT 7 may come out in China under a different name
Interestingly, according to some reports, the GT 7 model with Dimensity 9400e may later appear in China under the name Neo 7 Pro. In this way, the brand maintains its strategy of customizing models for specific markets while introducing exclusive new products to a global audience.
