Maingear announced a computer from the 90s Retro95 with modern hardware

Maingear Retro95 is a system unit stylized for the 90s era. The PC is housed in a horizontal beige chassis and even has a floppy drive, but inside it hides the most modern components for cutting-edge performance.

In the maximum configuration, this PC can include an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The RAM limit is 96GB, and NVMe storage capacity can go up to 8TB. The front panel is decorated with decorative plugs imitating disk drive slots. There’s a DVD drive behind one of them, and a 3.5mm audio port, USB Type-C, and two USB Type-A ports behind the other.

System cooling is provided by Noctua fans that guarantee, according to the manufacturer, powerful airflow and minimal noise. The front panel also features LED indicators for power and drive activity.

Maingear Retro95 is already available starting at $1,599 ($125 440 rubles) for a version with a Ryzen 5 9600X processor, 16GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card.
