Honor X70 officially unveiled: ultra-rugged body, AMOLED display and 8300 mAh battery

Honor announced a new budget smartphone Honor X70 in the Chinese market. The novelty bets on durability, a capacious battery and high brightness of the screen.
Despite being only 7.76mm thick and weighing 199 grams, the device has received protection under three standards: IP66, IP68 and IP69K. That means it’s fully dustproof, submersible, and resistant to high-pressure water jets.
The smartphone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 3840Hz PWM, and peak brightness up to 6000 nits.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor inside is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Of particular note is the built-in 8,300mAh battery with support for fast charging: 80W via cable and 80W wirelessly (512GB version only).

The main camera consists of two modules: 50MP (main, f/1.88, OIS) and 8MP (wide-angle, f/2.0). The front camera has a resolution of 8MP.
Additional specs include an infrared port, stereo speakers, NFC, in-screen fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
Honor X70 will be available in four colors: Midnight Black, Bamboo Green, Moon White, and Cinnabar Red, as well as several configurations:
- 8GB + 128GB – 1,399 yuan
- 8GB + 256GB – 1599 yuan
- 12GB + 256GB – 1799 yuan
- 12GB + 512GB – 1999 yuan
