Asus has launched Zenbook Duo UX8407 with dual OLED screens and Panther Lake chips

Asus has announced the new Zenbook Duo UX8407 laptop. The model gets dual OLED displays with up to 1,000 nits of brightness, 32GB of RAM and a 99Wh battery. Compared to the 2025 version, the new product has taken a major step forward, moving to Intel’s Panther Lake platform up to a Core Ultra X9 388H processor with Arc B390 integrated graphics.

The Zenbook Duo 2026 is one of many Asus models updated to the new Intel architecture. In its maximum configuration, the laptop comes with a Core Ultra X9 388H and Arc B390 graphics with 12 Xe cores. At the same time, the UK Asus store also offers a version with Core Ultra 9 386H, which uses a more modest iGPU with four Xe3 cores. A significant upgrade is the battery: it now has a capacity of 99Wh instead of the 75Wh of last year’s model.

Besides the hardware, Asus has also updated the exterior of the device. The Zenbook Duo gets new displays with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, a redesigned chassis made from the company’s proprietary ceraluminium material, and an improved detachable keyboard. The company has already revealed detailed specifications in its launch announcement.

When it comes to pricing, Asus has priced the Zenbook Duo UX8407 in the UK at £2,299.99 for a version with a Core Ultra 9 386H processor, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Retailer Currys previously offered a configuration with a Core Ultra X9 388H and a 2TB SSD for £2,499. In the eurozone, a similar top-of-the-range version sells at Computer Universe for €2,600.
