Ayaneo has revealed a new version of its Pocket DMG handheld console
Ayaneo has unveiled an updated version of one of its popular handheld gaming devices — Pocket DMG. The new modification is named Aura Yellow and is already available for order in several memory configurations. Despite the updated look, the device still relies on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and bright OLED display, which distinguishes it from other vertical handheld consoles.

This is the second update to the Pocket DMG in the last month. Ayaneo previously released a Bright Silver variant, and even earlier, nearly two years ago, the original version of the device debuted. Both Bright Silver and the new Aura Yellow utilize the same hardware as the base model Pocket DMG.

Inside the console is a Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 processor, and a 3.92-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1,240 × 1,080 pixels and up to 450 nits of brightness is responsible for displaying images. The device features a 6,000 mAh battery, as well as a hidden touchpad that surrounds the physical control stick.
The main feature of the Aura Yellow version is its design. The entire body is a rich yellow color, including the shoulder buttons, and the contrast is provided by the red X, Y, Start, and Select buttons. This appearance makes it perhaps the most distinctive model in the Pocket DMG lineup.

The Ayaneo Pocket DMG Aura Yellow starts at $339 for a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. A configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost $419.
