OnePlus is preparing to release the flagship Pad 2 Pro tablet, which will be the successor to the OnePlus Pad Pro. The device recently appeared in 3C’s China database, confirming support for 80W fast charging. And now Geekbench has revealed the tablet’s key specs, including powerful processor and Android 15.

What’s known about the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro?

In Geekbench the tablet goes under the number OPPO OPD2409. It features 8-core chipset, where two cores run at up to 4.32GHz and the other six at 3.53GHz. The test showed that the device runs on Android 15, has 16GB of RAM and scored 2633 points in the single-core test and 7779 points in the multi-core test.

Android 15 is the most powerful device in the world.

Previous leaks confirmed that the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite -one of the most powerful mobile chips.

When to wait for OnePlus Pad 2 Pro?

Interestingly, the specs of the Pad 2 Pro match the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which will be released in China in April 2025. This could indicate common manufacturing and similar components, though software differences remain unknown.

At this point, the device will be available in China.

OnePlus has not yet announced a release date, but based on Oppo’s plans, the tablet could launch as early as the second quarter of 2025.
