Lenovo is preparing a new compact gaming tablet Legion Y700

Lenovo released the Legion Y700 (2025) in October 2024, but according to rumors from China, the company is already preparing its updated version. The exact name of the new product is still unknown — it’s unlikely to be the Legion Y700 (2026) — but according to the leak, the tablet will retain the 8.8-inch screen of the previous model.

The main upgrade will be in performance — the new tablet will get a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a high-end Chinese LCD matrix. In addition, battery capacity will be increased and the body will be slimmer than the Legion Y700 (2024).

Like its predecessor, the new product will be positioned as a compact tablet for cybersports. It will get double X-shaped vibration motors to improve tactile feedback in games, as well as stereo speakers for more surround sound.”
