Redmi Note 15 Pro+ surprised with a new camera – photos are already online

Redmi has revealed the key camera features of the Note 15 Pro+ smartphone and presented official sample photos. The new device debuts with a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, as well as flagship photo hardware including a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor and a 2.5x zoom telephoto lens.

Redmi has confirmed that the Note 15 Pro+ features a 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 (OV50E) primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is a marked difference from last year’s Note 14 Pro+, which used a 200MP camera.



In addition to the main module, the smartphone has received an ultra-wide-angle camera and a telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. All three lenses are showcased in the official photo examples published by the brand ahead of the launch.
Display, processor and battery specs
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with four curved edges, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip and is available in configurations with up to 16GB RAM.
The battery capacity is 7,000 mAh, with the device supporting 90W fast charging and 18W reverse charging.



Software and additional features
The new product will come with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 proprietary HyperOS 2.0 shell. The maximum configuration is expected to offer up to 512GB of internal storage.
Other features include flagship-level symmetrical stereo speakers (1115), an IP68/69-rated chassis, and possibly satellite support in the top-end version.
Presentation Date
The Redmi Note 15 lineup, including the Pro+ model, will be officially unveiled on August 21 in China.
