Nothing invites fans to get involved with the Community Edition Phone (3a)
By ForGeeks Nothing is reaching out to the community once again, offering to participate in the creation of a special edition of the Phone (3a) Community Edition smartphone. This is the company’s second such project, following last year’s Phone (2a) Community Edition, which won the Gold iF Design Award.

Unlike regular limited editions, the Community Edition is not just a new color or an exclusive version. It’s a full-fledged collaborative project where fans of the brand are involved in the smartphone design, accessories and marketing campaign.
In 2025, the project includes four areas:
– Smartphone design: developing a unique visual style for the Phone (3a).
– Program design: in addition to creating wallpapers as last year, new widgets and a set of clock icons can now be proposed.
– Accessories: participants can come up with a exclusive accessory or collectible that will come bundled with the Community Edition.
– Marketing Campaign: fans will suggest key visual elements, launch ideas, and marketing activities.
How to get involved?
To get into the project, you need to apply in one of four categories. The call for proposals is open until April 23, after which Nothing will hold a 24-hour vote among community members, and then an internal jury will select the four best ideas.

Each winner will receive £1,000 and the opportunity to turn their idea into a real product.
