Infinix unveiled Note 50x – the most affordable smartphone in the Note 50 series

Infinix has announced the Note 50x, the fourth model in the Note 50 lineup. The smartphone is the most budget-friendly in the series, featuring a Dimensity 7300 chipset, 128GB of storage and a basic display.
Screen and camera
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The refresh rate reaches 120Hz, standard brightness is 560 nits, and peak brightness is 672 nits. The screen has a hole for the 8MP front camera.
The back panel houses two cameras, but the specs of only the main one are known – 50MP sensor with f/1.6 aperture. The camera supports 4K video recording and has AI features, including AI Eraser for post-processing shots.

Chipset and performance
Infinix claims that the Note 50x is the world’s first Dimensity 7300 Ultimate smartphone, but in reality it’s a marketing ploy. The chipset remains the same 4nm processor from MediaTek clocked at 2.5GHz and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
The RAM capacity is 6GB or 8GB, but it is virtually expandable. Built-in storage is 128GB.
Program Features and Battery
The smartphone runs on Android 15 with the XOS 15 shell. Signature features include AI-powered wallpaper generator, Folax voice assistant, Circle to Search, and a texting assistant.
The 5,500 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging and 10W wired reverse charging. Infinix claims the battery is rated for 2,300 charge cycles, which is equivalent to approximately six years of use. That’s well beyond the standard 800 cycles of most smartphones.
Design and protection
The smartphone body has been given IP64 protection against dust and water, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification, making it more resilient. Available in Titanium Gray, Enchanted Purple, and Sunset Spice Pink (actually brown) colors. The Sea Breeze Green version features a vegan leather back.
