Xiaomi unveiled TV Box S (3rd Gen) – 4K, Dolby Vision and Wi-Fi 6 support

Xiaomi has announced TV Box S (3rd Gen), a compact media set-top box available in the global market. The device supports 4K UHD (3840×2160p) with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound. Pricing and regional availability have not yet been announced.

TV Box S (3rd Gen) features a 6nm quad-core ARM processor clocked up to 2.5GHz and ARM G310 V2 graphics chip. Xiaomi claims a performance boost of 25% for the CPU and 130% for the GPU compared to the previous generation. RAM is 2GB and on-board storage is 32GB.
The device supports Wi-Fi 6 (with a compatible router) and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting accessories. Connectors include HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0, and power input. A Bluetooth remote with voice control is included, supporting 360° input with Google Assistant and quick access to Google TV features.

Program Features and Design
The set-top box runs on Google TV, which aggregates content from different apps and subscriptions, and supports personalized user profiles. Media Casting via Google Cast and voice playback control are available. Features may vary by region.
