Google will add an AI-powered assistant to search to buy tickets

A new feature in AI Mode will help you search for concert and sporting event tickets directly through Google’s search bar.

At Google’s I/O 2025 conference, the company showed how artificial intelligence will simplify the ticket-buying process. Instead of going to vendor websites, users will be able to simply type a query into a search – for example, “two inexpensive tickets for Saturday’s Reds game in the lower rows”. AI Mode will process the query, check offers from multiple venues, and show suitable options.

Artificial intelligence will take into account not only the name of the event, but also parameters like date, budget and preferred seats. You won’t have to manually compare prices or open dozens of tabs. The algorithm will provide already sorted offers that match the specified conditions.

The exact launch date of the new feature has not yet been revealed. Google promises that the tool will appear “soon”. AI Mode will also help with other tasks in the future, from making reservations at restaurants to signing up for services near you.

The story Google will add an AI-assisted ticketing tool to search was first published on ITZine.ru.
