RayNeo unveiled the Air 4 AR glasses – the world’s first glasses with HDR10 support and sound from Bang & Olufsen
RayNeo, the TCL-backed augmented reality (XR) brand, has officially unveiled the fourth generation of its AR glasses — RayNeo Air 4. The announcement took place on October 23 at the company’s fall presentation. The novelty became the world’s first glasses with a display that supports the HDR10 standard.
A new generation of AR glasses is the first in the world with a display that supports the HDR10 standard.

The RayNeo Air 4 is powered by the new Vision 4000 chip, co-developed with Pixelworks, a company known for its image processing technologies. This is RayNeo’s first purpose-built AR chip, and it unlocks support for HDR10, AI HDR and AI 3D video right in the glasses.
With the Vision 4000, the device delivers up to 1,200 nits of brightness and displays more than a billion shades (1.07 billion colors). Just like today’s TVs, the glasses can automatically convert regular video to HDR for a more realistic picture.

The RayNeo Air 4 uses a fifth-generation micro-OLED display covering 145% of the sRGB color space and 98% of DCI-P3, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The company claims the virtual screen can reach the equivalent of 135 inches.

The sound deserves a special mention. RayNeo teamed up with the legendary Bang & Olufsen (B&O) brand to customize a new audio system with four speakers, independent DAC drivers and large polymer diaphragms. RayNeo engineers personally worked with B&O’s acoustic team in Denmark to achieve «high levels of sound pressure and dynamics». The result is a deep, clear soundstage, and the special guide nozzle reduces sound leakage by up to 80%.

In addition, the new AI 3D system allows conventional 2D video to be converted to 3D with a single touch. Combined with intelligent SDR to HDR conversion, this ensures the best possible picture quality without having to wait for official remasters.
The RayNeo Air 4 starts at ¥1,599, while the Air 4 Pro version will cost ¥1,699.
