Boox introduced the Palma 2 Pro and Note Air 5C eBooks
Box has announced the release of two e-book models running Android 15. The compact Palma 2 Pro is designed for everyday reading use, while the 10.3-inch Note Air 5C is work-oriented and can be converted into a laptop-like device.

The Palma 2 Pro features a 4096-shade E-Ink Kaleido 3 color E-Ink display with 824×1648 pixels (824×412 in color mode), built-in backlighting, and pen input support. Underpinning the performance is an eight-core processor and 8GB of RAM. The 128GB of on-board memory allows you to store an impressive library and necessary applications. Other smartphone attributes on board include support for 5G networks, microphone, speaker, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, hybrid SIM card slot, 16-megapixel camera with flash, ambient light sensor and accelerometer.

The device runs Android 15 and offers the option to install third-party apps. Physical buttons are provided for easy reading controls and security is provided by a fingerprint scanner. Autonomy is provided by a 3950 mAh battery. The dimensions of the device are 159x80x8.8 mm and the weight — 175 grams.

The Note Air 5C features a 10.3-inch Carta 1200 E-Ink display with 4,096 colors, 2480×1860 pixels (1400×930 in color mode) and backlighting. The screen supports the Boox stylus with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and magnetic attachment to the keyboard case. The configuration includes an eight-core processor and 6GB of RAM. For storage, there’s 64GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot.

A 3700 mAh battery is also inside, along with dual speakers and a microphone. The dimensions are 225x192x5.8mm and the weight is 440 grams. Unlike the junior model, there’s no SIM card slot, but the rest of the specifications are much the same as the Palma 2 Pro.

The Palma 2 Pro is priced at $399 (R$32,400) and the Note Air 5C — $529 (R$43,000).
