Burning Springs expansion for Fallout 76 with a character from the series will be released in December

Ahead of the Fallout series’ return to screens in December, Bethesda Softworks has prepared a gift for Fallout 76 fans.

The Fallout Day Broadcast 2025 announced the release date for Burning Springs — a new content update for this multiplayer game that has gained popularity over time despite initial controversy. The update will bring the Burning Springs location, a bounty hunter profession and a new storyline to Fallout 76.

The highlight of Burning Springs, however, will be the appearance of a character — Ghoul from the Amazon television series. He will be voiced by Walton Goggins himself. The developers promise to reveal the history and features of this much-loved character.

The Burning Springs release is scheduled for December 2, which is two weeks before the second season of the TV series premieres on December 17. And early next year, 2026, Fallout 76 will get versions optimized for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
