GIGABYTE reveals AI TOP 100E series SDD drives

GIGABYTE has introduced the AI TOP 100E series of SSDs, which are designed for large AI models. GIGABYTE has introduced the AI TOP 100E series of SSDs, which are designed to withstand long, intensive write sessions.

The GIGABYTE AI TOP 100E SSD in M.2 2280 form factor with PCIe 4.0 interface is available in 1TB and 2TB versions with claimed capacities of 109,500 TBW and 219,500 TBW respectively. For the 2-terabyte version, this is equivalent to approximately 17 hours of continuous 2 TB/second data writes over five years.

At the same time, the M.2 2280 is available in 1TB and 2TB form factors.

The GIGABYTE AI TOP utility optimizes the performance of AI models by moving the processing of large amounts of data from VRAM or RAM to the SSD itself. The read speeds for the 1TB model are 7200MB/s and 6500MB/s, while the 2-terabyte version has read speeds of 7200MB/s and 5900MB/s respectively.
