Xbox Series X/S will get an improved version of Terminator: Resistance and DLC

Reef Entertainment has announced that Terminator: Resistance will get an extended version on Xbox Series X/S, two years after its release on PS5. Terminator: Resistance was released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2019. An expanded version was released on PS5 in 2021, which included new story DLC called Annihilation Line and access to a separate Infiltrator mode.

Owners of Microsoft’s next-gen console didn’t get the extended version at the time, but it’s scheduled for release later this year along with the Annihilation Line and Infiltrator DLC. Annihilation Line — is a «story-based expansion» featuring popular Terminator character Kyle Reese, while Infiltrator Mode will allow players to take control of the Terminator T-800.

On September 27, players who already own the digital version of Terminator: Resistance on Xbox One will be able to upgrade for free to the next-gen console version, which also includes Infiltrator mode. Reef Entertainment will then release Terminator: Resistance — Complete Edition, which includes the main game, Infiltrator and Annihilation Line DLC, in both digital and physical form on October 27.

Players who already own the digital versions of the game for Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S will be able to purchase the Complete Edition (and get the Annihilation Line DLC) for the discounted price of $14.49. Teyon, the studio behind Terminator: Resistance, is currently working on RoboCop: Rogue City, a new game based on the original RoboCop trilogy of movies.
