The final title of the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw remake has been officially announced, but with it came news of a delay. A new tweet from developer Dragami Games confirms that the game will be called Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.

When the remake was originally announced in July 2022, Dragami Games founder Yoshimi Yasuda said the game would be released in 2023. However, Dragami’s latest tweet also states that the remake’s release has been delayed until summer 2024 for «the best possible gaming experience».

Yasuda was previously CEO of Kadokawa Games, which published Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer is Dead games in Japan. He was also an executive producer on both games.
