Chery has registered a new Luxeed electric car brand in Russia

According to the open FPIS database, Chery Automobile has applied for registration of the Luxeed logo graphic. Earlier it was reported that Chery is developing an electric sedan together with IT company Huawei.
Chery Automobile has filed an application to register the Luxeed logo graphic design.
The Luxeed brand name apparently refers to the positioning of a future electric car model, which will be in the luxury class. The electric car will be built on Chery’s E0X platform and will be equipped with a CATL battery pack offering a range of 700 kilometers. It will also be equipped with an air-controlled suspension and two motors, one at the front and one at the rear, to give the car all-wheel drive.

The photo of the sedan shows the lidar that is mounted above the windshield. That suggests the car’s high level of autonomy. The EH3 is equipped with 11 high-resolution cameras, three millimeter-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars. The electric sedan will also use Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8295 chip, which supports up to 11 screens and speeds up AI features such as voice processing.

There are preliminary reports that the first Luxeed model, which will cost around Rmb2.7 million, will be available in China this September. Unfortunately, however, registering the name of the new brand in Russia doesn’t mean it will also be available in our market.
